Brian L. Foster, 62, of Warsaw, passed surrounded by his family at 10:40 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at his residence.

Brian was born on Feb. 28, 1961, in Dolton, Ill., to the late Clarence O. and Arlene (Hartman) Foster Jr. On Sept. 8, 2007, he married Jackie J. Bryant in Gatlinburg, Tenn.; she survives.
Brian graduated from Warsaw High School in 1979. He worked hard all of his life to provide for his family. He drove a semi-truck for many years and was a welder as well as working as manager at Kroger’s. He then worked for Da-Lite Screening for over 15 years, where he was a supervisor.
His children and grandchildren were his world, and he kept busy attending numerous events for all of them. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, playing the guitar and eating all kinds of food, especially pie. He always had a project he was working on. He also enjoyed going to Metamora and Gatlinburg. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan and enjoyed going to Notre Dame football games with his brother and his daughter.
He is survived by his wife, Jackie Foster, of Warsaw; children, Traci and husband Justin Slater, of Fort Wayne, Ashley Bender, of Burket, Brianna Howard and Tyson Thompson, of South Bend, Ashley and husband Kevin Cooper, of Silver Lake, and Kayla and husband Robert Zeisig, of Warsaw; 19 grandchildren; siblings, Gregg and wife Karen Foster, of Mentone, Vicki Scott and Marvin McClone, of Burket, Julie and husband Mike Clark, of Clarksville, Tenn.; and aunt, Glenda Kreft, of Oklahoma.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Jr. and Arlene Foster, and grandson, Lee Howard.
The funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, at King Memorial Home, 101 N. Tucker St., Mentone, with Pastor Robert Brown officiating.
The interment will take place following the service in the Tippecanoe Cemetery, Tippecanoe.
Visitation hours will be held from 4-7 p.m. Monday, June 19, at King Memorial Home, Mentone.
