Judith “Elaine” Seeley, 65, of Burket, passed away at 10:02 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw.
She was born on April 1, 1950, to Russell A. “Dean” and Mary Louise (Garber) Rowland.
Elaine was a lifelong residence of Kosciusko County and graduate of Mentone High School. She was a loving mother and homemaker, and previously employed by Walmart, where she worked in the deli.
Elaine was an artist at heart. She especially loved painting and crafts. She was passionate about dancing and music (her favorites were Dr. Hook, Rod Stewart and Elvis). She enjoyed reading, embroidery, spending time with her grandchildren, and spoiling her beloved Black Labrador, “Trouble”.
She is survived by a brother: Roger (Sandy) Rowland, Mayer, Ariz.; a daughter: Angie Seeley, Dade City, Fla.; a son: Frank (Cari) Seeley, Silver Lake; a step daughter: Debbie Willis, Indianapolis; grandchildren: Roxxanne; Christopher; Taylie; Daron; Ryan; and several nieces and nephews to whom she will forever be “Aunt Lainey.”
She is preceded in death by her parents; a sister: Deana Webb; brothers: Terry and Rusty Rowland; her former husband of 25 years: Frank Seeley; and step daughter: Robin Seeley.
There will be a graveside service at a later date in Palestine Cemetery, Palestine. There will be no calling.
McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel is entrusted to the family for the arrangements.
